Knob Creek - End of an Era

Sad news. The semi annual celebration of freedom in Bullit county is coming to an end this fall. This notice posted pretty much says it all. No doubt it will be missed by many of us who used to hunt the pole barn for parts to keep our old guns going. This notice posted by Kenny Sumner pretty much says it all.

A lot of the guns were already old when the current owners got them, and they'll outlive the next batch too.

I read it as Covid plus no one wants to step up to the plate and take over the leg work.

    A pity.

    Likewise...
Back in 2019, I'd pre-booked my time off work for 2020 with a view to going to it, as I had intended going in 2019, but all the delays brought about by my on-off-on house move that year meant that all sorts of things were put back a year into 2020, and we all know what happened then.
Just the thing for putting round holes in square heads.

Indeed they do, in fact it is a disease of Western Civ. these days; and usually a terminal disease at that.

Same thing with the War and Peace show or BELTRING to the great unwashed.
I used to hit it almost every year and then they move to Folkestone then back to Paddock Wood and now with the covid I think they will probably fold.

I think the insurance companies had something to do with it, according to some of the insiders....

This is the kind of behind the scenes censorship and social control we are going to see much more of in future. In Canadaicon, the Lieberal heir-apparent, former central bank governor of Canada and the UKicon, is openly bragging about how the international banks can and will force companies to conform to the "agendas" through financial leverage.
