Well, I tried to do my due diligence, look at the listing for myself and make up my own mind...but didn't bother. If a seller isn't serious enough to proofread even the title of the listing, then they probably don't want me to look any further anyway.

Maybe I'm too harsh? I often fat finger my posts here as others do and aren't bothered by it...but in this case for me at least beers are involved with the post, and I'm not asking for your money. Nah. I'm not too harsh at all.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Here's the answer I got from him. I have no doubt he knows better. He's hoping some bidder doesn't and his weasel words will be an excuse if accused of fraud.

I’m not sure that is why I’m said I wasn’t sure and listed all the phots so you can judge for yourself. I’ve been told both ways more say it’s not

And I thought it was going to be a thread about politics!
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.

I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls the picture of the Circle T so no one else makes that disturbing connection.... But actually, no he won't. He puts a misleading title on the listing, then shows pictures of everything with the usual disclaimer so he can't be held accountable. I hate people like this. They make everyone look bad.

The "winner" gave most of thousand bucks for SKS in another auction. Wonder what he does for a living?
