    RIC Carbine value

I have an RIC in good condition, but no idea what it could be worth. I am retiring and need to insure or sell a few, I know it cannot be a great value without pics but hopefully to get in the ballpark range. It is as good a sample as I have seen ,well used but cared for with the black leather sling. Many thanks for your help and advice.

They are creeping up in price. They seem to hover around $1500-$2000 now. There have been some pretty rough ones on the auction sites, going for what I feel is too much for their conditon (rusted, damaged wood, mismatched, etc). I bought a really beautiful one about 7 years ago for $1200. All matching, great condition and with bayonet. Recent ones have appreciated in price.

You might want to check some of the auction house "past auction" catalogs.

    Pics would help, too.
