    German Trench Periscope

    This Germanicon Trench periscope was found in my step fathers things after he died. No markings other than the ones in the pic. Glass seems perfect.

    What do we have exactly and what is it worth and where to market it.

    You will find that there are almost certainly other markings, possibly on the bottom of the prism housings. Almost certainly a C.P. Goerz model as per photos below.

    They made a single tube periscope that was half of one of these stereoscopic models. I've had two over the years, and they were very good glasses.

    (The Dietzgen tripod shown is of course not original to the glasses)
