    ENGLAND V ITALY

    Ovidio and our Italianicon members,

Good luck on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London where both teams face up at the European Football finals 2021.
After everything we have all endured, its great to see everybody geting together on this, regardless who wins.

Three Lions goalie Jordan Pickford has only given up one goal in the entire Euros. Even with Italyicon's aggressive style I think they will be hard put to get past Englandicon. Italy did however beat a superb Spanish team to reach the final. In any event it should be a wonderful match. Congratulations to both sides.

See Englandicon FA have been fined because some idiot apparently shone a laser into the eyes of the Danishicon Goalkeeper just before the penalty was taken.
One has to assume they didn't just take his word for it and there's evidence on the Video!!!

Thanks Gyl and everybody. I’m no fan of round ball football (I played American Football for 25 years, no ladies games), but am glad so many people are being “revived” by this European championship. I hope the best will win. Honestly. No drama.
I’m sure I will still make the best of Sunday’s game. Be with friends and have a few prosecco’s.
    Good luck guys!

Before kickoff of Englandicon vs Denmarkicon their national anthems were played in turn, with Denmark first.
It was wonderful to see the teams lock arms and sing with heartfelt gusto.
Not my anthems, but moving just the same.

Yep, caught on tv cameras, and still shots were shown in press.
Being old I can't equate the cheating to win theatricals of modern footie, and Sterlings dive to 'win' that penalty sticks in my throat, no way was that a penalty in a million years. And it wasn't his first of the match either, he made the most ridiculous arms out swan dive into the goal trying to claim a penalty before he realised the ball had gone in the net for an own goal. He was a diving cheating scrote when he played for Liverpool, and he hasn't grown up that much since.
England fans have moaned for 35 years about Maradonna's cheating hand-of-God goal in the '86 WC, but it appears its OK to cheat as long as you win.

I think Italy will be too strong for England, Mancini has them well drilled and if they get the first goal, it will be very difficult for England to get into the game IMHO.

However, its a final, and at Wembley so all bets are off in reality.

I just hope are scote 'fans' don't boo the Italianicon anthem like they have with all the others so far, so disrepectfull.....and the Italian anthem is such a great one as well.
Just the thing for putting round holes in square heads.

So sad to see the racism kicking off again as the three lads who missed their penalties were black.
Colour does not come into ANYTHING, they did their best and ALL games sadly are full of luck, and ours ran out last night.
I say to both teams well done for getting to the final.................I will say nothing about the MONSTER goalkeeper in the Italianicon net though..................where the hell did they find Captain Hurricane Ovidio, he kept a few out too????
