A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I doubt if that is the original bolt - it isn't pinned.

It sure reads like a book doesn't it? Those DP stocks came in from during the '80s and were all snapped up to redo sporters. Looks like a nail used as a pin at the front sight. It needs everything.

Yes, you can find the new made ones if you look. I think we have a member here that can produce them.

No doubt a barreled action from a sported rifle set up in a stock salvaged from an Indian DP.
A noted Canadianicon dealer with a US presence was humping a similar composite, with quite the tale of the rifle's history, based on the stock stamps. Of course the tale was only relevant to the stock...

    Bolts were pinned during WW2.
