Need Help with Milsurp Rifle Values from Estate Sale

I picked up a bunch of guns and the research on them is whooping me and trying to figure out values based on condition percentages is daunting. If anyone would like to get some pics and assess what I got I would gladly appreciate it. Here's a short list:

    1. 1884 Springfield Trapdoor with bayo, original leather belt cartridge holder, US web belt, and Manual. (Great shape except for some bluing rubbed off the muzzle end)

    2. 1903 Mark 1 Pederson sporterized, & 1903A3 milsurp

    3. M1922 22LR trainer rifle. Barrel dated 2-29. (Great shape!)

    4. 1899 Springfield Carbine. Kragicon (Appears to be actual carbine and not some cut down)

    5. Remington Model 8 35 Rem. (Great shape)

    6. Swedishicon mauser carbine. (Great shape) 1901

    7. Double barrel damascus steel black powder and 10-12ga shotguns

    8. Winchester pump 22 rifles. One looks like an 1897 type)

    9. 1897 Winchester 12ga long barrel

    10. Couple Remington falling block 22 cals

I can send pics of everything. Much appreciated in advance. Brad

For sure we need picture heavy sent to show us all. Impossible to do anything but ballpark and then we're just guessing if we can't see them.

Post the pictures of one rifle at a time, so the experts can comment. Not all at the same time. Full length and then sights, all markings, etc.

  6. Thank You to Daan Kemp For This Useful Post:

see this book for military stuff . My SRF post
Value of my rifle ? Look here for ref. - Surplus Rifle Forum - www.surplusrifleforum.org

If you really want varied inputs post on different forums: SRF, Gunboards, and here with close up views of markings, cartouches on stock, condition of stock and metal , matching condition, import marks & location or lack of an import mark. If an snn is written on the rifle -bad. Bore condition. completeness of rifle --- sling, bayonet cleaning rod. I would say at least 10 close up photos of diagnostic markings. Plenty will give suggestions.
And each type should go into its appropriate heading category so collectors of that type of rifle will reply. Temper Fi from a track rat

There are different books on hunting guns- but value is what you like and collect- I would not even pay $100 for hunting rifles, sporter military is worth its total in useable parts. So to each, the value differs by interests and region.

See your PM for email to send pics so I can put them up. You should start a separate thread for each different one...
