    Remington 722 rifle

I had been storing a nice Remington 722 rifle for about the last twenty five years. these are really nice rifles and well made except for the stamped trigger guard. The owner is going to pick it up soon, I did install an old Weaver 4X scope as I had the mounts. Trigger pull has to be around 3lbs. Caliber is 222 Rem and by the barrel code appears to have been manufactured in 1955. There are RCBS loading dies and about 50 empty cases. The 222 cartridge is about gone now, really liked this cartridge and had a 40X BR single shot in the caliber too, quite accurate at 100 yards.

We have a couple of shooters still using them at our club, I find brass occasionally. Yes, they'd be sweet. Like the .218, .219 the .222 has little recoil and shoots fantastic groups.
