can I use the same headspace gauges for both
Yes, and use .074 gauge. You may also have an oversize chamber, read the brass after it is fired. Shoot the first round in the sled or set of tires if unsure of the rifle, away from your face
Let us know how it checks out, most Enfield with matching bolts pass a FIELD (.074) American terminology or the Britishicon No Go (.074) terminology. See Alans remarks in the links. Buy one gauge =.074

A really nice but expensive set: https://www.tectal.at/en/lee-enfield...sh/lee-enfield
other make dos are in the reference link.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Wow. You guys are a wealth of information. On the SMLE, I'm only concerned with getting the bolt head readjusted, as I fairly certain it's good. My dad was the one who got it from the hardware store and sporterized it, back in the mid to late 60s, or very early 70s. Said the darn thing was more accurate than he was. One of these weekends, I'll get pictures of it posted, don't remember the year right offhand, but I'm fairly certain it's a BSA.

The P14 is a numbers matching Eddystone, and has been sporterized, too, however, I don't know who did it. Picked it up in a pawnshop, when I went looking for a 30-06. Wasn't happy with the 30-06s they had, even though they were brand new. Length of pull was a bit short for me. Haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet, until it goes to the range for testing. Fairly certain somebody around here was using it as a deer rifle, until for whatever reason, they sold it to the shop.
