steel shell casing identification?

I have one shell case in my small collection that I have not identifed yet.
I was wondering if one of you knowledgeable folk could help out.

It is plated (cadmium) steel. I purchased it here in France at a garage sale.

It looks like a 3" 70 AA casing. Here's one for sale to compare. https://www.springfieldarsenal.net/S...l-case-M46.htm

Here's the pics so all can refer to them later. Can't see the markings on the bottom of yours though... Measure the case mouth in mm and maybe Cinders has a match at his place?

It is 75mm daimeter; forgot to mention that in my first post.

The markings are: CN-75-50
and then below is: 3 AME 3 S

Well, the 3"/70 Mark 26 gun is 76.20 mm. Also base diameter and length would help confirm...

I do have a steel 75mm case but I got that from an American destroyer 35+ years ago when it visited the Bunbury port don't remember how I got from the crew to remove it off the ship but here it sits in my room.
The stencils on the bottom are practically illegible although the one on the side of the case says "Electrically Primed".

30three ran AMS through what codes I have no hits RCS may have a bigger list than I but the shell case looks in really nice condition good catch.

I have a few WW1 French 75mm shell cases; which are very common here obviously. But there are some very rare models if you know what to look for!
I found an 1898 production case a couple of weeks ago; which is 2nd year of production. So a nice one to have.
