You'd think with that big chunk of a bolt slapping back back and forth, compounded by the bolt accelerator, it'd make rapid fire accuracy pretty tough. Not really the case, is it?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). I'll be honest, this shot so well and so smooth I didn't even notice the bolt moving. I'll have to do some more investigating with it next time I go but I have a lot of handguns and this one was easily the easiest to keep on target. I watch guys at a third of the distance struggling to hit a man sized target and I just hit it with a full clip with zero practice or preparation.

I've got a few myself, and I'd be prone to concur with your assessment. Many are accurate, but few are so stable for rapid follow up shots.

I found a proper Danishicon holster for it. I'll keep the Swedishicon Sam Brown rig but wanted the correct one for it also.

Awesome shooters, you will enjoy it. Get a few extra mags to load at home as they are a real barn-stitch to load. I got one for a great price a good few years back, but foolishly sold it to fund a Luger purchase. Always regretted that and was eventually able to buy it back from the guy I sold it to. It won't leave me again!
