    K31 with WF diopter sights

Here is my 1941 dated K31icon rifle - I was lucky enough to find one complete with her original sling and a Waffenfabrik diopter set, which was exactly what I needed to shoot her safely and with some degree of accuracy at the range with my 50+ aged eyes.

The rifle was imported to Germanyicon by Frankonia Waffen Würzburg (WWF marking on the barrel).

The walnut stock is not particularly attractive, but, from what I had read, walnut was becoming quite scarce at that time.

Very nice. I have almost the same rifle, but had to hunt down and purchase the sights separately and have not accessorised it as yet. Battered stock on mine, dated 1935. Shoots well when I do my part, but prefer GP11 over PPU.

Will dig out some pictures when I get a chance.

    Regards

    Mark

The Swissicon Products scope mount makes shooting much easier for my 79.5 year old eyes.
