When I hover my cursor arrow over each picture it allows me to click on it to enlarge it to a big picture. You have to click on it again to reduce its size back down to where you can click on the next pic to enlarge it. I just thought thats what everybody else was doing on this Forum :-)

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... Hammer, You don't have to close each one before you can enlarge another. You can drag them around and have several showing at the same time if you want. I do that sometimes to compare images from different replies, but they all have to be on the same page.

Look close at your buttplate and hammer pictures. On those (2) there's an "enlarge" arrow that isn't grayed out - see what it does? I think your other pictures are smaller and that's why the arrows are grayed out. I guess the viewing size is related more to the the actual dimensions (width & height) than it is to the file size in bytes.

I use 1600 x 1200 quite a bit and works fairly well. The problem is if you overdo it, the enlarged picture will (more than) cover the entire area of your screen! The "thumbnail" I'm showing below was copied from a recent thread on the forum. This one is just 276 KB, but the dimensions are too large at 4608 x 3456. See link below. - Bob
