Lee-Enfield Sht. 22 Mk II

I'm thinking about buying this rifle. The seller says the bolt is mismatched, but it does look like a Lee-Metford Mk II bolt to me. I am inquiring about the bore condition, which I should have done in my first message.

The sight is a Mk III* sight, and the cocking piece is a later cocking piece. I found a post on another collector's site that says some of these guns were repaired in Canada/Australia/NZ/other countries with whatever parts they had on hand, so this could be OK.

I'm curious what the forum thinks. The price seems a little high for a mismatched bolt, assuming the bore is in good shape, but these are quite rare.

It appears the seller is a FFL and the auction ended without any takers, hence if you try to contact the seller directly you might still be able to buy it.

I did. It was on consignment. The consigner decided to not sell.

I think that is priced way high the 22 short rifles normally go for about 25% more than a #2MK4
Then show up on gunbroker on a regularly basis
A long time ago I found 22Sht MK 1 on it
