A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. It's probably worth repeating again that, "if one goes to a horse fair with a handful of cash and shout out "I want a horse!", one will most likely leave the horse fair with a horse (and no money) but there is a good chance that it won't be a very good horse." This isn't something that I have made up but it was told to me years ago. To put it into plain English, if one keeps one's eye's open and is patient things have a habit of turning up, over time, when you least expect it.

OK, I had one too and it was cherry...had all of them at once. When I sold the rifle, they went with and I sure didn't get vast amounts of cash for them. They're around...
