I've spent the morning (4am) polishing the stock for my "new" Broomhandle Mauser. Now watching the endless "Christmas Story". My daughter and son-in-law took me to the Christmas Story house in Cleveland back in the fall. I loved it. Now watching the movie with a new perspective.

What no leg lamp in the window? Be careful with the Red Ryder BB gun, you shoot your eye out!! All joking aside, the adult size version of the Red Ryder BB gun is a great seller at Christmas time. Last year I had over 150 in stock and they were gone in about a week.

    Merry Christmas to Everyone.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. They have the leg lamp in the window. That's in another pic. I picked up a Red Rider BB gun a few years ago and usually put it by the tree every year but this year has been a little complicated and we didn't put many decorations out. Feeling fortunate we put the tree up actually. I was a little reserved with the outside stuff this year as well. I did get two new blowups to replace about 5 that went bad but that's a bit of a downgrade. Getting tired of this Chinese garbage going bad after one or two seasons. Lights, blow-ups, etc. LED lights should last for a decade, not one year.

None of our kids are at home anymore but my youngest and her husband came in the late afternoon for dinner and stayed into the evening. I watched the Christmas Story for a third time because she hadn't watched it in its entirety yet, then we watched Die Hard because my Son-in-law insists it's a Christmas movie and finished up with Elf.

Today we go to my other daughter's house to see the Grandson. We got him a sit upon digging machine that he'll probably want to take outside right away. It's warm enough I suppose but that's up to mom.
