Sticky "Argentino M1879 Rolling Block..." - pictures restored

This sticky thread contains most of what a raw beginner needs to know to refurbish an old BP rifle. It forms a useful "how to do it" reference work.

Following the recent disappearance of all forum pictures into a digital "black hole", I am at present restoring the pictures to this thread. It will take some time (the thread includes more than 270 pics) as the missing pictures have to be recovered from the multi-GB backup files in my archives, and resized and renamed, before they can be re-inserted.

So if you refer to this thread and find some pics missing, don't be downhearted, but try again a couple of days later. Up to now I have repaired the thread pages 1-4.
As they say, "watch this space".

And hearty New Year's Greetings to All !

    Patrick
