Won another nice carbine

I sold some issue firearms, raised $..and won this, Underwood was in Hartford right near our family business, their wartime employees spent lots of $ at my grandfathers store!

I think its good...too bad not "I" cut, but early..and no wheel is correct, I read, in one book.

At that price, that is not something I would be taking to the range every trip. I personnaly am more of a shooter and not a collector... Still, it appears to the a piece of history as it once was.... nice!

Perhaps topic for another thread, but I am totally behind you on the use of these venerable weapons. I NEVER fire one of my "collectibles". I have a couple of "shooter" carbines if I am so motivated. Can you imagine breaking the extractor on an IP??
