I grew up in that era, Dad's hardware store had a toy department back then, and I do not remember ever seeing any gun models. I had numerous GI Joes back then, us "boys" ended up destroying them all with our first .22 rifle. Prolly worth way more now than the rifle that "killed" them...

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Well, I can't confirm I have Covid but the doctor seems to think I do. I did a telecall this morning. Based off all my symptoms it's an acute sinus infection, a bad one. There are no testing appointments available anywhere nearby and I'm not spending $40 for a home test kit even if I could find one. Based on the start of symptoms, I can come out of isolation after tomorrow. Every site I visited made the big differential being lungs verses sinuses, lungs is covid, sinuses is sinus infection.

I actually found a test site so I guess I'll know one way or the other, probably after I'm out of quarantine. Not doing anything today or tomorrow in any case. I'm feeling a lot better. Never had fatigue that I would call it that. The doctor really seemed to want to know about that more than anything else and with my heart condition I'm on medication that makes me tired going up hills pretty easily but walking across a room or going up steps to the bathroom, no.

On toys, I got lots of toys Been collecting them since I was a kid and never got rid of them. Never got any of the cool weapons but I have soldiers, trucks, planes, tanks, etc. I used to have a lot of ship models, but I stupidly melted most of them with a magnifying glass and shot them up with BB guns in the atomic bomb tests recreation of the late 1970's. I really regret doing that.

So I sat for over an hour to get the test, found out this evening it might be four days until I get the results. What's the point? Feeling better, might actually shower for the first time in five days. In the meantime I won this on an online auction today for $16. Hoping the tank is in nice condition. I have to pick it up tomorrow.
