It's been confirmed. I have Covid. Doing fine. Started out as a weird cough, kind of deep and it didn't seem like there was any reason for it. Over the next two days it progressed into a sore throat and the cough by the evening of day three was enough to keep me awake the entire night. Day four things quieted down and by the night I could sleep at least but still woken up by the cough.

Head was congested, nose draining both ends. Bloody discharge by this time. Lungs remained clear the entire time, just a sinus infection and sore throat. Got tested Monday morning, which was day four, had a phone consult with a doctor who diagnosed it as Covid. I had my doubts, but he was correct. Results came this evening. Fever was never very high, our forehead measurers never went higher than 97.6 but as I'm usually between 95.5 and 96.8, I knew something was up.

I'm now on Day 6 and done with quarantine even though I still have the cough. I've lost four pounds mainly because I'm not doing anything other than sitting so I'm not getting hungry.

I cleaned up a knife, a scabbard, finished a bubba rifle and did my book keeping for last year. Tomorrow is a new day and I need to find something to do before i go nuts.

I had it back in the summer, one symptom after another. Not all at once and my temp only went up about four points of a degree. I was tired for three weeks and then was good again. Glad you're on the mend.

As one RCMP SSgt wrote in his retirement email to the news paper..."I've had worse hangovers"...
    Regards, Jim
