    Diver recovers M1 Carbine

Ran across this video one day. @ 16:40 in the Diver finds a M1icon Carbine.
I was able to see a W marked straight hammer.
Can anyone ID any other part codes ?

**Reminds me of one found by Police Divers in the Detroit River I posted about a few years ago. So many guns there it's illegal to dive the river.

    Cheers..

I see a Type 3 front band and pretty sure that's a Type 2 rear sight. - Bob

The shotgun they handle at the five minute mark isn't a Mossberg 200 pump shotgun however. Maybe an Mossberg 835 but there's no receiver safety up in the back. Looks more like a Winchester 1200 series by everything except at the butt/receiver. It sure ain't an old full wood stocked 200...lots of mis-ident with these guys. They're no more knowledgeable than their layman viewers...or the cops they hand the guns to.
    Regards, Jim

Great video. Thanks for sharing. Makes you wonder what’s in the local rivers and lakes.
