President Ronald Reagan with a Colt Sauer?

Ran into this picture today of President Ronald Reagan with what looks to me like a Colt Sauer. Is that what I'm seeing?

Yes, I did notice that he's not being very safe and has his finger on the trigger.

Can you imagine what a field day the press would have if any president would have posed like this today, well except for the current President, he seems to get away with anything.

Always wanted one of these but, yeah I might too much money for me.

Smoothest bolt action I have ever seen. I was always looking for one in .30-06 but picked up a .458 Winchester Magnum Grand African.

Yes, it's a Colt Sauer. You can tell from the leftside of the receiver and scope rings.
