    Swiss 1906 Sawback

This is my find from the Baltimore Antique Arms Show today. I actually had to get them separate from two different dealers and I don't think the one was very happy with me. There were two guys there selling Swissicon stuff and then the third guy with this one bayonet. I was double checking to make sure the other two didn't have one and asked this one fellow what a fair price for one without a scabbard was and he knew immediately what I was talking about. He said he might have the scabbard for it but didn't get around to checking it. I went back and bought the bayonet and this guy was standing right behind me. The fellow with the bayonet told him he was too late. We checked the scabbard, perfect fit and I bought it off him. Pretty sure he wanted to buy the bayonet and sell the set for a higher price which is what i would have done so no hard feelings.

This is one of the harder to find Swiss bayonets and I think the last major one I needed. There are sub varients of the Veterly that I could get but they are basically small improvements made over the years. This is using the Veterli blade with the later 1911 handle. This blade does not have the "bulb" on the end.
