    Aacca gun show

The Alberta Arms and Cartridge Collectors Easter show starts April 15th and 16th at the Seven Chiefs Recreation Complex on the Tsuut'ina Nation, 19 Bullhead Road in southwest Calgary. Should be a good show. I will have a display of early Winchester carbines models 1866 and 73, if you come be sure to stop by and say hello!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. We had a few tables when it was at the BMO Centre a few years ago. (long haul for us) It was incredible.

If it is even half as good at this new location, it will still be great.

Let us know how it goes.

The AACCA show in Calgary this past Easter was great and well attended. The new venue is superb and there is talk of taking on one of the two ice pads as well for next year's show. Displays were excellent and sales brisk. over 600 guns went out the door not including what changed hands between tables. I picked up a Canadian Hawker Typhoon pilot's leather flight jacket with a Typhoon painted on the back, its in excellent condition and I was happy to bring it home. The show is a little over 7,000 KM round trip for us but well worth the drive it is absolutely the best show in Canadaicon!
