    AR 15 take down pins

I have a Colt A2 that I (kinda sorta) retro fitted it to look like the old M16icon's. I've added a "teardrop" forward assist, a straight sided forend retainer ring, and triangle forends. The only obvious thing to change is the forward takedown pin, the one that is on it is a screw I think, at least it has a screw head on it. Is it a different size than the old pins ? Is the correct (push out) pin available ?
