    Heck....Furious the Aircraft Carrier had to have her hull reinforced a couple of times! She was VERY "scantily framed" to try and save weight!

    FWIW, I saw ONE photograph with both turrets showing, and several drawings. I suppose it's possible that the photo was something of a cut-and-paste...but what with stability coefficients and what-not....ships generally aren't something you can "kinda" complete!

    It's been in commission for some time. To save money it was built from well used parts from other decommissioned hulks. It was following strict guidelines about limiting the cost of fuel so in obeying those instructions it filled only the port tanks.
