    Ducatista's

World wide Ducatista day today so the wife and I went up along with other Ducati owners to support our local dealership.
I have known the owner for 35 years and have ridden with him on many rides top bloke its a family run business from management to the workshop.
Great service and very helpful at anytime your in a bind they'll come and get you or go the extra yard to ensure your bikes in top condition.
They put on a massive spread so much food I managed snag/onion roll then snuck in some chocolate cake & a can of coke very naughty of me!!!

So my wife took her Supersport I was going to get her to take my 1199S Tricolore she has never ridden it (She reckons she can) and its into city traffic.
Its a bit of a mongrel in traffic being a big twin and is certainly a pretty angry bike with plenty of torque so we agreed I teach her on a quiet backroad sounded a better proposition.
Me I just took the V4 I had to clean my wifes bike as she did a girls only ride away to Albany for 3 days and she worked away last week so had no time.
I don't mind doing her bike as she is the bread winner now and I have ample time on my hands so spruce it up I did, then tackled my V4.
Just a pleasant afternoon cleaning with the greatest country & western hits playing in the background.

There was plenty of old/new bikes, a 2021 Bayliss was there, a V4 Street fighter which we watched being dynoed with the full Ti race system only put 171 RWHP! (My V4S puts 206.75 RWHP same system different rated engine though).
Pic # 1 the our bikes mines red so goes fastest!! Pic # 2 a general shot of the crowd & bikes. Pic # 3 my 2012 1199S Tricolore

I can just about see a couple of trellis frames down the line, so there were a couple of Monster's there at least

I still hugely miss my Monster 750.....
Just the thing for putting round holes in square heads.

I rode down to Rimini for the World Ducati Weekend back in 2000 on my 900 Suprlight (I must have been young then!). I started out from Menton (South of Franceicon)
Met with an old friend who rode from Stuttgart in Germanyicon. It was a great weekend with Factory visit and plenty of on track stuff at Misano circuit.
But ****ed of rain nearly all the way home!
