A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Seeing this photo reminds of the piano that we use to have in the 1970's which was just like the one pictured, minus the candlesticks. I remember the time that the TV repair man paid us a visit which was always more of a social visit because it normally lasted 5 or 6 hours and most of the time he wasn't fixing the TV. I remember one time he came to "fix the TV", he was explaining to mother that he "was learning to play the piano" and that he was "teaching himself" and that he considered the best way to achieve this was to first "dismantle the piano" and then, hopefully, "reassemble the piano". Before I knew what was happening he had stripped the front, top, back and sides off our piano, plus other vital components and now, amazingly, our piano had been transformed into what appeared to be a harp.

My mother, the only piano player in our household, seemed completely unfazed by having her piano completely stripped down. Fortunately the TV repair man did have the ability to resemble the piano and we did, eventually get the TV fixed.
