US M-209-A Cypher Machine Pouch

The Cypher machines are very rare, the pouches just a little uncommon. This one was (is) carrying an old style camera which is seems almost perfect for. Seller didn't think the pouch was anything because I basically bought the camera for about a third what the pouch is worth. Lots of hits on the name but doubt he's any of them.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I sold one of those pouches about 15 years ago on fleabay. It had been in some of the items I got from a great-uncle, who was a Military Policeman on Occupation Duty in Japan icon

. As I recall, it sold for more than I expected.
