    FR-8 sling mounting

I removed the sling from my FR-8 for some in-depth cleaning. Now, I can't figure out how to re-install it. The front clips on...got that. The rear has a separate metal piece with a "button" on it. The sling has a leather piece with two holes cut in it. I know the leather piece wraps around the rear swivel. But, that's as far as I can get. I put it on a few years ago, but now I'm a little older and can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure where mine is at so I can't look but I'm thinking you put the end of the sling with the button through the rear swivel and then put the button through the hole. I usually do it so the button isn't hitting the wood.

I figured it out. My problem was that the leather had to be really compressed to go through that button TWICE! I got it though.
