    Bren drum dummy/follower rounds

    Gents

I've just come into a complete chest of Bren Mk I 100 round drums complete with everything including bracket, loading/tensioning bar & winder. On examination it appears that the 3 dummy/follower rounds are missing from the drums. Any idea how hard it would be to make up some dummy rounds and install them?

I haven't pulled them apart yet, but am planning on doing so this week.

Thanks for any info or help

    Gary

The rounds are not the problem....the links are.
I have made them for Bren drums using drill rounds and modified .303 Browning aircraft disintegrating links .
I cannot remember all the problems I had but there were a few along the way as I recall.
Apparently the rounds were a hot item for the cartridge collectors, but I cannot see the links and rounds missing in all 4 drums. Maybe they are just caught up inside.
I will check a few of my drums later today or tomorrow.
If you cannot find the links let me know as I know I still have some around "THE SHED" (tm) somewhere.

I have 3 of the 4 followers, and I have got a ton of 303 dummy rounds. What I need are the links that hold the two dummy rounds to the follower/stopper round.

Any chance you might remember where they are and could I convince you to part with some ???

If they are truly .303 Browning links, I have about 100 here and would send you some...if that's what you need. PM me once you find out...

I’m not sure if they’re 303 Browning links or not, but like Warren mentioned, he was able to make some from them. I’d need about 9-10 links if you have some to sell.

I’m in California for shipping purposes
