Metford Mk 1* Clearing rod and mag link

I recently acquired a Mk.1* Lee Metford. I know the Britishicon got rid of the clearing rods on these early on and therefore it's not historically incorrect not to have it, although the channel is there and I feel a need to fill it. I know that finding an original would be like winning the lotto so second best thing; I'm looking for some information on an individual or company that might sell these. I'm also looking for one of the small mag links between the trigger guard and the magazine for the same rifle. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give or directions you can point me in.
