    Inside a T72 Tank Turret

This video, although in Russianicon, gives a very good understanding of what it is like inside a Russian T72 Tank turret and how the auto loader works.

This video is from 2016 and so, obviously, not from the present conflict in Ukraine.

There was a T62 in Ft Lewis Wa some decades ago and I had a chance to get inside. The worst place for me was to try to get into the drivers compartment and then through the narrow space into the turret area. I was certain I'd get stuck and have to live in there...

By comparison I got inside an older M60 and thought we might be able to play basketball in there. There was at least room to swing a cat.

That is why Russianicon tank crew were selected for a maximum height, IIRC 5'2". So they could fit in the tank, purposely built for tiny soldiers.

Yes, that was the talk at the time. That was a clear issue. I'm 5'10".

Nononononooooo. No tanks, no subs, nothing where I would be trapped in some kind of vehicle. I wanted freedom, air, sun or rain. But not closed up. Not for me.

Disgraceful condition for a supposedely Operational Rusky tank of the line.
Bearing in mind of course this is before any future war with Ukraine, could have been the interim war after Crimea I suppose, seems they are having fun, but that crew should be taught how to keep weapon systems cleaner than Godliness, if them want them to continue working efficiently.
They probably have cleaners come in after work with a hoover and a duster, no wonder they have lost so many tanks in the current war with young Commanders who clearly don;t care as conscripts
How aged is that a two piece charge!!

That was the way I spoke when I joined too. No aircraft a mile up, no ship 100 miles out. I figured that at least on my feet I had an even money chance to survive.
