WW2 USMC Pouches on a WW2 USMC 5 Snap Utility Belt

I didn't list this under the Appraisal Thread because I need some information on thIs item and I still don't know what or how I'm going to list or sell it. I'm not sure if I'm going to list as one piece or take the Pouches off and sell them separately since I have several of them. I know this not the correct Belt for these Pouches but all the complete sets I've seen in the past had this smaller 5 Snap Utility Belt and was told they would swap out the Heavier Belt for the Lighter Belt {don't know if that's true}. Does anyone know what a set of 5 WW2 USMC Pouches with a WW2 USMC 5 Snap Utility Belt are going for these days ? I don't want to Overcharge anyone.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. First one I ever saw. Interesting. I did some checking and it does appear this is the intended purpose of the belt although there is mention of a bag for explosives which would attach to it as well but that bag only has two snaps and size wise doesn't appear to be a good match for the five snaps on this one. Maybe two of the explosives bags would fit.

The best way to sell it for the purchaser would be to sell it as a complete outfit. The best way for you the seller to sell it would most likely be by the piece. But it's hard to tell. Some may pay more for the complete set all at once than for the individual parts.

Can't help with the price. I'm only now starting to get interesting in USMC Pacific War stuff and I'm finding most of it to be rather expensive compared to the Army European stuff.

While I have a couple of USMC items, I acquired them by accident without knowing what they were, nor did the seller apparently. My most recent purchase inspired by just reading Shaara's book is the reversable poncho and it hasn't arrived yet.

I didn't know about the belt used for explosives so Thank You for that information Steve. I appreciate your input I guess moving it complete would benefit the buyer since the more you buy the better the deal. I just have to keep searching what a complete one has gone for. Thanks Again !
