    In Todays Sentinel

There were 3 more shooting incidents. A father in WA state kills his 5 children, then himself. In PA a 73 year old newlywed shoots his bride, killing her. Here in FL a mother shoots and kills her son, then herself at a shooting range. The mother had a history of mental problems. I think things are only going to get worse, and Im afraid that the rest of us are going to suffer greatly for the acts of these fools.

yesterday here in Mass. a guy in Gardner shot at a police officer who responded to a disturbance at his home with a rifle of some sort, then barricaded himself in his barn. Fortunately he missed the officer, and was quickly surrounded by over 150 LEOs from all over the state. 4 hours later he surrendered peacefully.

Aside from the idiot killing his kids and himself, don't you think that in the case of those other incidents (in this thread), they're not that unusual? Murders do occur and I think the media is now going to be looking for things, just like they always do.

The gun banners seem to forget that lacking a gun, nut cases will use a knife,an axe, a car, a bottle of gasoline, a baseball bat, a tire iron,a brick, or just their hands.
We have some nut case in town stabbing people for no reason at all. He hasn't been caught yet.

    Who needs a gun?
    1. Lying in a hospital bed in this rural hub of Kenya's Rift Valley, a man describes surviving two machete wounds to his head and multiple slashes to his hands. He says he was attacked by people who now live by the rules of tribalism.
    2. DETECTIVES are investigating whether two robberies in the Burswood area by men armed with a machete or meat cleaver are linked.
    3. A Fairfax man walking from a Merrifield movie theater was attacked late Monday by several men -- one of them wielding a machete --
    4. Police have announced additional arrests in the savage baseball-bat beat down that left a 22-year-old Staten Island man in a coma.
    5. A 28-year-old man is in hospital with serious head injuries after he was assaulted by four men in hooded tops with a house brick and a piece of wood.

To bad the liberals don't read the news....

Here's more you don't hear about in the main stream US news media.
A man has opened fire in a court-house in southern Germanyicon, killing a woman before shooting himself dead.
The shooting comes less than a month after a teenager went on a gun rampage in and around his former school in the town of Winnenden, killing 15 people. ay

    Knife,

Richard Speck killed 8 nurses with a knife, now I wonder what would have happened if one or more off the nurses would have had a gun and some training.

Well the, largest mass murder before the murrah office building, was committed with a gallon of gas and a match. The clown who burned down that night club in New York.

And if you really want to talk about mass murders, how about the Twin Towers? They used airliners.

    And another gun-less mass murderer,

John Wayne Gacy killed at least 28 boys, they think it may have been more,no gun,he strangled them.
And the "Green River KIller" didn't use a gun when he killed all those kids.
You could search out a great many more mass murderer's who did not use a gun, what about that "Jonestown cult" thing,a few killed by gun fire but Jim Jones was responsible for about 900 deaths by poison, there's many more cases of gunless mass murder down thru history.
