    British Indian Army Khulla

I didn't find much at the WWII weekend flea market, a couple of books, a model, a couple of US canteen cups and a Khulla. It looks exactly like the khaki one under the red and blue one as you scroll down the page. I knew nothing about it at the time of purchase but it is dated 1942 and has the broad arrow acceptance mark and it was cheap. Plus I like unusual hats.

What I did not know is this is the center piece of a turban, two parts with the other part, the wrap being called a Pagri.

So now I need to find a pagri but this particular website is about the only one with any real information on it.

Anyone know anything about these, where to find one, are they also marked and dated?

I think that it is reasonable to assume that a genuine example would be marked because Britain marked almost all military equipment and one would assume that the same would have applied to Britishicon Indian Army equipment. For the British Indian Army it is normally a Broad Arrow with an "I", the "I" denoting, as I understand it, the place in India where military equipment was "accepted into service".
