Scam sites - Edged weapons, Bulgaria

Its been a while since I last logged on and with regrets I log on today to post a warning of a dishonest Ebay vendor and their web-site store
    .
I recommend to all to AVOID, as if the black plague, the Ebay SELLER known as "go_decor" (1469) with 97.1% Positive feedback and their site WW2 Military Store, "WW2Military.org". The email address is varbov66@abv.bg.

I have purchased and paid for 5 or 6 items thru the website since October of last year. Ive had problems with all but the first order. The last order was placed 21 March and despite many patient emails Ive received but one lame email in response, no proof of shipping and I still see the same item on sale on the web-site.

This happened with two three earlier orders but after a long wait and MANY emails from me I finally received VERY late refunds thru Paypal for the first two and received the last item after 58 days. Seller said the last item was sent quickly but just delayed. However, the first item was delivered 11 days after payment and the last item was post marked only a week before it finally arrived.

I find the SELLER slow or unresponsive, untruthful, and without integrity. I filed a claim thru Paypal, but the Seller did not respond. I escalated the issue with Paypal and still the Seller has not responded.

True, the prices are reasonable and shipping charge acceptable, but I think this is a case of something that looks too good to be true is in fact suspect at minimum, and to be avoided. Perhaps I was being naïve and foolish to trust a Seller from Bulgaria, but Ive had no other issues with Sellers from a number of other east-European Sellers over the past two years.

If you decide to buy from this SELLER make sure you do so thru Ebay, but there are complaints there as well that ring true to my experience. To those who may ignore this alert, I can only say "Caveat Emptor"!

The thing that one does have to watch is that one only has a limited amount of time to get one's money back via eBay. I think that it is 30 days with eBay? However, if the payment was made with Paypal one may be able to get one's money back through that route which did and I'm not sure if it still does have, a longer window of opportunity to make a claim.

If a eBay seller has only got a 97.1% rating then alarm bells would be going off with me and I would be reading other people's feedback for that seller. I don't really like dealing with sellers with anything other than 100% positive feedback but sometimes needs must. If the feedback is less than 99% then I am looking closely at other people's feedback for that seller and how many recent negative feedbacks they have before I buy from them.

I have probably had more problems with UKicon eBay sellers than from overseas sellers but overall I encounter very few problems with eBay.

feedback is rigged. Ebay could care less about the buyers as they make their money on the seller fees. Case in point, I tried to leave negative feedback a couple times...unresponsive seller, damaged item, even an item that never came. All of these were reversed by Ebay. You see, as soon as you post negative feedback to a "big seller", the seller complains to eBay and eBay reverses it and removes your feedback. So, what does 100% positive mean for a seller that moves goods at a reasonable pace? All it means is that they are on top of it, watching their feedback and acting/reacting immediately to protect their image.
I still buy on ebay when I find a good deal, but I also accept the risk, and recognize the illusions of security or fairness.

I don't know about that. I have a close associate here that has over 33,000 trader ratings with Ebay and does excellent business...that has been given unfair negative feedback that he was able to prove was unfair or wrong. All appeals to Ebay were disregarded, the negative feedback remains.
    Regards, Jim

March 21 purchase - repeat requests for item, refund, and a full month since filing a claim to paypal. Almost 90 days...time is no longer the issue. This SELLER is dishonest, plain and simple, thus my warning to all.

I ordered from the website before learning seller had an ebay account. His Website did not have a link to Ebay, nor does his ebay account provide a link to his on-line website. No reviews found for ww2militaria.org. It was only after some digging that I found the Ebay account and reading the reviews there came far too late to be of help on my last order. Hindsight is a good reflective practice but doesnt change nor help and on-going issue.

I too take complaints with a small grain of salt. Many are from uneducated, careless buyers, or over-stated as retribution for a slight real or imagined. However, some are written well and ring true. I can attest that a number of the reviews I found for go_decor share a similar experience and rang true.

should I also post this in the Scam forum? I wish to get the word out and drive this site out of both Ebay and use by western buyers. I see no other way to help protect others but to also affect a consequence for this SELLER. Any advice?

If the feedback rating is 97% then clearly eBay hasn't removed all the negative feedback.

When I complained to eBay about this very issue, a few years ago, I was told that they don't remove feedback but had just made it, in the case that I was complaining about, so that it was no longer visible, insisting that it was still there.

I buy a ton of stuff on eBay. Only ever had one transaction that fell through and got refunded. I've had items sent to me by mistake and had to send them to the correct fellow while he sent me mine but the seller paid the shipping fees. Maybe I'm lucky.

Thanks for the warning however, I'll keep an eye out for this fellow as I have bought things from Bulgaria before.
