IS this a Genuine Rose Brothers Bracket

Looked at a few No4Ts yesterday, all fakes apart from one which was a composed set.

Any thoughts on the bracket, not marked but looks to be a Genuine Rose Brothers.

Simon, it looks pretty good to me. Here's a picture of a scope I have with an RB bracket. Yours looks pretty much like mine.

The rough finishing marks are similar as are the caps. I'm not aware that the these brackets have been reproduced/faked as yet.

I've had a few in the past both marked un marked, but didn't have one to compare against at the moment

The Tin is 1941 dated looks right, but probably never originally issued, unless its a really good fake, markings are stamped & not engraved

    Scope can

Here’s another 1941 dated one for comparison. I can’t tell if the one you show is real or not.

Everything I've seen looks ok to me Simon, accepting the scope, bracket, & tin have been repainted. I also think that the cradle clamps have been renumbered at some point, but this is not uncommon. It certainly is a genuine Rose Brothers bracket IMHO.

Re the scope tins: B = Bellings & BE = Berry Electrical.

Thanks everyone this has been really helpful, had a nagging feeling something wasn't quite right, but feel much better about this one.
