So sorry to hear about the loss of Harlan. I have found that it really is true that when good people pass they leave behind a unique hole that only they can fill. It sounds like Harlan was one of those people.

Regarding the posting of reference rifle photos, I understand that a lot of posts on this board serve that purpose. What I was trying to get at is that I think it would be helpful to keep some of these posts stickied at the top so that they do not move and are not lost down stream over time as other posts come in on top of them. A lot of times if you are not able to make a precise search that pulls something up, you have to use the brute force method of just wading through a whole lot of posts. My point was that I think it would be helpful to have some easily accessed, non-moving reference photos to help with identifying as issued guns from arsenal rebuilds or modified rifles. It is just a suggestion.

If you put your pics with your profile they can be accessed easily, if you want a sticky created, you could ask one of the mods about it. Yes, it's been done...
