    Austrian Gendarmerie Enfield sling

I recently acquired a No 1 MK III that has the Austrian gendarmerie stamp. I was wondering what the proper sling would be for this rifle. Would a WW2 era Britishicon sling be proper or did the Austrians have their own?

That definitely makes it easier. A sling, bayonet and ammo and I should be good to go......

Only Police in Carinthia used them, no other Police. Therefore absolutely no sense in making slings just for one state (which is one of the lower population ones atop).

That makes sense. I have not been able to find very much information on these rifles.
