I have got to get an inventory done.

So I've been searching for a USMC upper haversack for about a month now. Picked up a Britishicon version a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to get that fitted out since. Got a nice sten magazine pouch Saturday and thinking I have another one somewhere in the house. Spent some time Sunday trying to find it with no luck. Opened a box that was sitting on top of the spare bed about an hour ago and found the pouch. Unfortunately, it's Swedishicon But underneath is a curious looking haversack and I pull it out and it's a blasted USMC upper haversack dated 1945. No idea I had it and have been watching these things go on eBay for $150 plus all this time. I've decided to get the gear set ups for the various nations, so this is a start. It's not a 1941 which I had been looking for but a 1944 which is an improved version. Either works for me. Now to find a lower and a shelter half. Could use a green one I guess but the camo ones look pretty sharp.

    I know the feeling:

    Boy don’t I know it.

It is kinda fun to open up a box and go, “oh neat!”

Like finding something cool at a yard sale except for free and in your own house haha.

It is really neat finding this stuff, then relief I don't need to keep looking for it, then worry as I begin thinking my mind is going. At least I'm not the only one.

I'm slowly thinning out some of that as I don't use any of it any more. I have lots...

It feels good ,now I know I'm not the only one. Have a tight inventory on the sterilized stuff. The rest. Not so much. Kind of fun finding something you have been looking for. Even better when you forgot you had it.

I just get the feeling that deceased family members are moving stuff about the house when I'm asleep or out.

I look at what I have in the house, I know what I've stored in the shed then just shrink away from trying to get it all onto a spread sheet so when I perch it my wife won't be taken to the cleaners.
I have no excuses! In fact I did start on the books and weapons but the data became corrupted in the spreadsheets when my old comp crashed.
