If it's WWII dated and in good shape you can get some decent money for it. If postwar or no dates it still sells, just not for as much. Seems to be a lot of it around in unissued condition so that seems to keep the market down to a degree compared to US stuff. Unissued US stuff can cost a small fortune.

Anyone know how the rangefinder in the binoculars works? I'm having no luck finding instructions for it. Has a very long side to side and a short vertical. I thought most of these used vertical based on the height of a person.

Compass case came today and it's a pistol ammo pouch so back to eBay on that one. Compass came yesterday. Appears someone removed the radium and replaced it with white paint which I'm OK with. Kind of freaked out when I heard they are hazardous. Still planning to test it somehow to see if there's anything residual with it. Very early production based on serial number.

I guess I am going to have to find out what all this stuff is. Some greenish canvas, some early 40's, some 50's

The Green is most likely postwar. The khaki could be WWI or WWII stuff but was also used postwar as well for a while. But production pretty much ceased when the war ended and they had a lot around for years afterwards.

I got the last of what I was looking for last week. A Britishicon officers satchel. 7 months of watching eBay since my last purchase and I was looking for it for months prior to that. They were around but either very expensive or in bad shape.

Yeah, this stuff is a mix from all over. Canadaicon and UKicon make up most of it. I think there's at least one Australianicon item in there somewhere.
