Here are some pictures of one of the first CMPicon M1icon's I received when they still offered the USGI sevice grades. It is a RRAD rebuild.

The first M1icon I received from the CMPicon was in 1998. It was an RRAD rebuild with a Winchester Receiver. The bolt was also Winchester but the rest was mostly Springfield Armory with a couple of HRA parts. Barrel was a 1947 SA and looked new. Stock was new with a very dark finish. It did not look like it had been reissued since rebuild. RRAD was stamped on the side of the stock. It also had a NM marked Op Rod which I have seen on many rebuilds. It is a nice rifle.

    RRAD marking

Have a couple of these; the "RRAD" and date (month/year) on mine are marked in electro-pencil. Had never seen a "stamped" one before - any body know the "lore" on the difference? dg
