    Fine weather

Got a rare break from the winter weather and had the opportunity to bring a shed queen out for a run my 2006 GSXR - 750.
It was a barn find in Victoria and only had 68 kilometers on the ODO as the previous owner brought it rode it home and then passes away so his wife parked it up.
I got it last year its had a good deal of money put into it to get running properly mainly new fuel pump, clean & seal tank, clean entire fuel system & service the bike.

Runs really well it now has 608 Klms on the ODO so back in the shed it went for another few months.
My wifes Ducati photo bombed as she had not ridden her bike for a while.

Yes it was lucky a fair few ppl were after it I offered what I thought was a reasonable price as they had already invested $2,500 in getting it to start and run unfortunately the shop they took it to were lets say less than reputable offering her $1500 for the bike but got it running told B/S what they had done.
When I got it here after licensing it was really running on 3 cyl's so I had my mate motorcycle mech wife have a look she took the injectors out sonic cleaned them as one was really blocked, the fuel rails had yellow gel like fuel residue in them so she did them, it also had water in the airbox (From high pressure washing a big no no for any bike).
So those a/holes tried to fleece her to get a cheap and really nice bike to then on sell it for a good $7K profit plus they overfilled the brake m/cyl which leaked and etched the screen so I got a 2nd hand one off my mate until I can source a NOS.

Its bad enough she lost her husband and I can imagine her keeping the bike as a fond memory of him for 15 years she would have struggled with parting with it but in reality another couple of years without any TLC and it would have been a major rebuild I just got it before allot of stuff became an issue.
I guess I am too much old school where your word or handshake is your bond I don't get today's society where ppl think its ok to be slimy and break their word thinking nothing of it may the good lord do something with the current generation because once us types are gone omg what then for the world.
