A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Nice looking rifle with matching receiver and barrel. Obviously not the correct bayonet. I assume a four groove barrel? Should shoot like a house on fire. One of the first 50,000 made, probably when they really started cooking in early 1943. Does it have a QWERTY keyboard? (JK)

It is a nice one, but I will know more when I finely get it. It does have the matching stock as well. Thank you for Replaying back

Your rifle is not listed in SRS. Your rifle appears to be correct and original except for having a replacement cocking piece from a Remington rifle.

    Good Luck!

Bill, What's your finders fee? I've been waiting patiently to find an early SC to match the very late 1942 SC typewriter I brought back to life a while back - kids use it very frequently for penpals, soothing to hear it clacking away while I'm working in the shop.

I think I posted pics of my underwood typewritter...last month of typewriter production before they shut down to retool.
