There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.

    Marine Vet Story

My clerk on the NYSE trading floor served in the Marines and went all through Khe Sahn, although he never talked about it. One busy day I had to order a sandwich in the booth for lunch instead of going up to the Lunch Club. When I finally got a short break, I unwrapped it and took a quick bite... and chomped on cardboard somebody had slipped in. The clerks were very busy of course and were on their phones with backs turned, the picture of innocence. But my guy couldn't help a small smile that I could see.
While his back was turned, I blew up the paper sandwich bag, shouted "INCOMING!" and popped it... in one fluid motion, he dropped the phone and dived into the corner with his arms over his head! I felt awful! He looked up red-faced and said, "You S-O-B." I replied, "You can always tell a Khe Sahn vet!" and quickly left the booth.
Real men measure once and cut.

Both Wilcox and Estrada were very nice, but she said they don't sit together nor talk to each other.
