    February 2, 1942 XO-777-1 Started Rifles in order 100,000
    February 4, 1942 XO-3570-4 Finished TOTAL RIFLES 405,625

Left handed? Cute as a button and engaged. I hope her beau made it.

Of course it would be. I was one year out of whack with memory of my own LL 328219 SA barrel date... I was thinking mine was made in '42. Long time since I saw that rifle.

So with the proofing of the weapon did the US at the time use the short ton 2,000lbs as the standard measurement also would the English proofing be based on the imperial ton 2,240lbs.
