    Ordnance Tag

    Ordnance Tag.???? This brass tag is 2 inch dia . Markings are Ordonnance Du 25 Mai. 1843 all write on out side edge. The letter B about the year. The number 5 atm in middle. Found this mixed in with a bunch of military parts.

    That's Frenchicon and just means Ordinance of May 25. 1843. This is a coin, there are many variations of it. Someone mounted a coin, defacing it with three punch holes. Here's another close in value. There are greater and lesser values.
