Green S&B PM6x42 L96 scope on Ebay uk

In case anyone is looking for one of the little green scopes. Bare scope without mount.

They've certainly gone up in price. Listing started at GBP 1150 and it's just had a bid at that.

Wow, I am glad I bought mine earlier in the year before the price went up.
One sold on eBay this week for just shy of £1k

And another one sold at auction in the UKicon back in July for £1200 (plus 30% commission).

It brings to mind... 'well, they don't make them any more'

I sold 10 used ones like this one at £400 each three years ago. I thought that was a fair price perhaps I should have hung on to them, but hindsight is a wonderful thing

I sold one of the Irish contract examples yesterday at the Motorcycle Museum arms fair for 1k. I was happy at that & so was the buyer. Suppose I could have hung out for a little more, but I made a drink on it, & the buyer is a regular customer & generally good egg, so I tried not to kick the arXe out of it.......

Unusual for me to have anything that modern!

    Sounds very fair Roger.

I see that eBay one ended up going for £2050 which is crazy. It seems two very determined buyers chased it up at the last minute which is all it requires to push things beyond the norm.

At this rate I might change my mind about hanging on to the one I have

I was the one who won the auction. However, the seller canceled the sale due to his unwillingness to ship to the U.S. I've been looking for a while now and I'm very disappointed in this outcome. I even offered a UKicon address for shipping but no luck. If anyone knows of an L13a1 for sale please let me know.
