A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. thanks Jim. Great pic. Its good to get confirmation because Im watching three separate auctions and so far the best price I project will be perhaps just under $200!?!?
Ive already ordered the frog from Savage. He does great stuff!
Im looking for a dust cover as well.
The pic shows a cleaning rod and sling swivel. I dont think the RTI Lee Speed Ive ordered has either. Swivels I can find. The cleaning rod, Ive not a clue and Ive not seen any offers!

There was a guy in Calgary Alberta that used to offer them. Oilman will know of him as well as a couple others here...was Hank Holm but he could well be gone now. He made this stuff on his hobby lathe. He'd been an armorer and always had clusters of cleaning rods at the shows. Good luck on the bayonet at auction. Someone here will be able to find a wiping rod I'm sure.
